REPORTS TO FABRICATOR SUPERVISOR JOB SCOPE: Working in a team setting and by yourself to complete tasks given to you by your supervisor, these tasks will remain priority based, and will have the ability to change on the fly to best compliment C.J. Moyna's field needs at the time. Work week is Monday through Friday, and an occasional Saturday. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Fabricate steel and other metal parts according to blueprints Lay out cutting lines Use measuring tools/devices to inspect work Fit fabricated steel items Maintain tools and equipment Maintain a safe and clean working environment POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Minimum prerequisite education, training, and/or experience required: Adequate training and experience; Completion of a technical trade program or training program Fitting and welding experience preferred Valid driver's license JOB SPECIFIC CAPABILITIES: Strong positive attitude Good organizational and time management skills Ability to make quick and smart decisions under pressure Ability to interpret engineering drawings and develop weldments from these specifications Ability to identify and measure material Ability to produce quality products consistently Ability to follow instructions given both verbally and in written form Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines Communication - Ability to read, write and speak English. Must be able to articulate ideas and plans and communicate these accurately and effectively to others. PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES: Hand Tools Used: Clamps, hammers, tape measure, speed square, grinder, wrenches, sockets, punch level, digital angle gauge Equipment Used: Press-brake, cut table, Two-ton jib, ten-ton lift, large part/equipment rotator, Miller Delta 452 Welder and similar welders, hand grinder with various attachments, oxygen acetylene torch, Forklift. Movement: Constant movement includes: walking, standing; Frequent Movement includes: climbing, bending, kneeling, crouching/squatting Lift and or Carry: 50Lbs Frequently, over 20lbs constantly, Over 100lbs occasionally with assistance.
