Nature Kids – Bug Adventure
Saturday, May 25th, 10 am-11:30 am
Nature Kids is a free monthly event for children 3-6 years who want to learn about the natural world around them through stories, crafts, and outdoor exploring at Osborne.
On May 25th we will have fun learning all about bugs. We will start the morning with bug yoga out on the lawn to warm up our bodies. Then we can head out on the trails around Osborne to find all sorts of creepy, crawly insects. We will end this fun event with stories and a craft.
Be sure to bring a yoga mat or blanket that can be used out on the lawn and wear clothing and shoes suitable for the outdoors.
Children must be accompanied by an adult. Siblings are welcome to join. Please call the Osborne Nature Center at 563-245-1516 for more information and to pre-register.
Mark your calendar for the next Nature Kids on June 14th. All programs and events are listed on our website www.claytoncountyconservation.org and Facebook page Clayton County Conservation.
The Osborne Center is located on Highway 13, ten miles north of Strawberry Point or five miles south of Elkader. The center is open from 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday-Saturday and 12:00pm-4:00pm Sunday.
