September 29, 10 am
Join the city of McGregor and the Clayton County Conservation Board in celebrating National Public Lands Day with a short hike on the newly-constructed hiking trail between Center Street and Cemetery Street on September 29, 10am in McGregor!
The trail climbs roughly 250’ over the course of approximately one mile through a beautiful forest hidden in a quiet neighborhood. The group will gather at the parking area on Cemetery Street just west of its junction with Center Street. The parking area will be marked. Wear comfortable, sturdy shoes as it is a primitive, dirt-surface hiking trail with occasional rocks and roots.
