The City of Guttenberg, Iowa is accepting applications for our Water/Public Works position. The
successful candidate must have strong public relations skills. Minimum education required: high
school diploma. Preference given to candidates with municipal water/public works
experience. Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Iowa Driver’s License and
Commercial Driver’s License, Class B with Air Brake. Possession of a Drinking Water
Operator License preferred. Must be available for off-hour emergencies and/or work
assignments, and be able to respond in less than thirty (30) minutes. Ability to pass preemployment physical and drug screen. Job description available at city hall. Applications will
