Performs routine and intensive cardiopulmonary care treatment and diagnostic testing in caring for neonatal through geriatric patients. Sets up and maintains respiratory care equipment. Performs routine therapy while demonstrating knowledge of current respiratory theory, principles of care and respiratory procedures. Performs cardiac and pulmonary rehab intake, ITP development and daily care. Responsible for performing stress testing; including treadmill and nuclear medicine. Performs other duties as requested. Maintains a safe and clean care environment and actively participates in quality improvement initiatives. Consistently contributes to department operations and communications while behaving in a manner consistent with the mission and objectives of GMHC. Responsible for the knowledge, awareness and the practice of the GMHC quality initiatives (CQI), behavioral standards and corporate compliance program.
