Clayton County Foundation for the Future (CCFF)

From generation to generation your gift keeps helping others.

The Clayton County Foundation for the Future (CCFF) was created with the intention of setting up a perpetual endowment fund that would serve the needs of all of Clayton County.

Grants

CCFF welcomes proposals for projects that benefit a broad spectrum of the community or a chronically underserved segment of the population. Grants are awarded in the areas of Health and Human Services, Education, Neighborhoods and Community Development, the Environment, Children, Youth, and Families, and Arts and Culture, including historic preservation.

Eligibility:
• Nonprofit 501( c)(3) tax-exempt, not-for-profit agency or affiliated with a public agency/unit of government (County, City, School) operating and providing services within Clayton County
• Organizations who do not have 501(c)(3) status are encouraged to find a qualifying agency to sponsor them. A Fiscal Sponsorship Agreement must be attached to the application.

Eligible groups may apply for up to $1,000.  A 25% cash match is required. Learn more and apply for this grant.

Funds

You can create a fund that supports a particular need or area of interest, or one that is multipurpose and flexible. Whichever option you choose, the fund you create will make an impact on community needs. You can also give a gift to an existing fund to support causes you love in Clayton County. For more information on giving a gift or starting a fund, please visit Clayton County Foundation for the Future's site.

Endow Iowa Tax Credit

Visit Site

Gifts of $50 or more to endowed funds qualify for the Endow Iowa tax credit. View a complete list of our funds. Various gift types qualify for the tax credit, including charitable IRA rollovers, gifts of grain, gifts of stock and cash gifts.

Credits are given on a first-come, first-served basis.  This means not only is it important to make your gift, but to fill out and return your Endow Iowa application as quickly as possible. Donors who do not receive 2019 tax credits become first in line for the new supply of 2020 credits.

All qualified donors can carry forward the tax credit for up to five years after the year the donation was made.
